Seriously somebody take my credit card away from me.

In the past 2 months I have either bought or recived the following DVD's:

Babylon 5 Season 1,
The Simpsons Season 2
South Park Season 1,
The Great Escape,
Minority Report,
Back to the Future the Complete Trilogy,
The Imax Space Pack,
And my latest purchase; Band of Brothers (Which by the way comes in an ultra cool tin can)

But enough blabbing I g2g, Easy Company just dropped into France.

    I hate to say it, but you do not have a problem. I do.

    In the last three months, I have purchased some 10 DVDs, mostly in the last two months.

    Although a number were also given to me for christmas, bringing the total number of new discs to 20. The DVD collection just keeps on growing...

    no, you don't have a problem, I know a couple down the street, they are late for rent all the time, usually a few weeks or a month. they have PC trouble alot, but I looked around the PC/Living room, and could not count all the DVDs I saw, I mean HUNDEREDS. going at an average of $18.99, and assuming only a 100 of them (There HAD to be more) thats $1,899...their rent is what? $350...I think their priorities are a little misplaced...

    IMO, you only have a problem

    A: if it keeps you from aquiring B5 merchandise

    B: it keeps you from having a home...

    so, get more DVDs!

    My collection's pretty small. But parts of it are worth a lot, and I expect it to grow quite rapidly now that I have a constant income (as opposed to the old way of a spurt of income every summer holidays). [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

    Personally, I thought it was crap. The special effects were excellent, but as we all know SFX doesn't make a movie great. Take "Final Fantasy" as a damn good example.

    I am trying to convince my dad to get about 10 DVDs (including Office Space, Vacation, Dirty Dozen, Ferres Buellers Day Off, Death Wish, LOTR 4 Disk set, and a few others). Only 160$ [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img] Actually, thats pretty cheap for what you get, but...

    I really have about 5 DVDs (B5 Movies, Caddyshack, The Wedding Singer, Air Force One, Young Frankenstine, and Tremors). But today my first season arrives!!

    P.S. Does anyone know where I can get Porky's, the Gothfather (only the first one), Lethal Weapon 1, and Animal House for cheap? NorthAmericanDVD doesn't carry them (damn Canucks... [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img] ) [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/wink.gif[/img]

    The $9.99 dvd racks at Walmart are really startin' to make their cut.... but it's soo convient having great shows... especially tv series on disc, and can't beat the quality..... now only if the B5 sets were on the $9.99 rack :-)

    So far I only have LOTR, and in this case that means Lord of the Rings, but I didn't inhale, and I just can’t believe DVD’s are addictive, as long as you’re careful.

    I don't even have a DVD player and probably won't be gettin one in a long time to come unless my income suddenly warps up radically.

    One guy btw who I knew used to have over 1000 cd's mere punk rock! And he had two jobs so he could buy more! He used nearly all of his money to buy those cd's. I wonder how much cd's he owns now if he still buys them. Haven't seen him in years, but I heard that he turned deeply religous after surviving a bad bike accident, so he might've burned them all or something.
