    Truly an amazing achievement, and an amazing piece of science work.

    Saw a special a month or so ago talking about the one of the rovers, I think it was Opportunity. They were covering the fact that the rover had become stuck in a sand-dune at one point and could not proceed. Eventually, they were able to slowly work the rover back out the way it came.

    Anyway it was amazing to me that all of this was taking place millions of miles away and the engineers had to do all the work to free the vehicle with a couple minute delay.
