at the moment i'm playing requiem: bloodmare open beta, a very strange mmorpg that will be free to play but also feature a cash shop where real life cash buys you items or skill resets. that set aside, it's so bloody and violent it's funny again.
age of conan beta was a big pile of rubbish and after what i have seen of the retail game as it came out makes me wonder why everyone is praising it. seems to need a years worth of patches before it's any good (kind of like warhammer online from what the voices in my head that officially cant say anything about the game tell me *cough*)
racedriver grid demo was/is a lot of fun, aside from the drift mode which is frustrating as hell.
I started playing Resident Evil 4 last night since I heard it was really good, and ended up playing about seven hours straight. It's a major improvement on the series, which I was always horrible at because of a variety of things, which they've improved in this one, like LETTING YOU ACTUALLY SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING. It's really fun taking out tons of crazy villagers and messed up mutants.
And some of you might remember me talking about the problems I had with my copy of Twisted Metal Black on IRC. Well, when I was erasing some old files on my memory card to make room for RE4, I wondered if it was somehow the data for Twisted Metal that had become corrupted or something, so I erased it, played the game, and now it works fine again. Sure I'll have to unlock all those other drivers again, and I lost my Endurance record, but oh well. I wonder what happened that messed up that data.
In the middle of a SMACX game as the Gaians as the third highest difficulty. Kicking complete ass. I could have won long ago with a DIplomatic victory, but shot for Transcendence instead for maximum score. It isn't good for your only remaining rival (University, who were pact brothers throughout history in an epic war verses the Hive and Believers who later went to war with me) when you have 10-15 cities building a 24-10-21 Gravship (yes, 21 movement, both land and water and can capture any city) churning them out on average every 5 turns. Plus I have other cities building my remaining wonders (plus I have the CLoning Vats, which means my cities grow a person a turn until they hit the Hab Complex caps).
Yeah, its really fun. I have like 2000 votes for Planetary Governor.

Yup, just finished it. It was shorter than I though it would be, there only turned out to be a handful of story missions. It was still pretty good though.
Well I just 'beat' Mario Galaxy but apparently there's still more to do. I might just skip that, return to it later, and start doing Metroid Prime 3 again.
