I'm pretty sure all of its content lives on in the FO archives somewhere. I'm actually in the process of renewing that server for another few years and can likely dig into it over the next month.

Not yet, but perhaps somedays. Also, the tortoise has been renamed to Chewie. She's definitely a "He."

There's some random ship mods, but they're basically godlike overpowered and unbalanced at last check. No story mode yet. One day...

The more I think about it, the more I want a Telepath War series. Even if it just ends up being a one-shot re-entry into the universe, that entire arc offers so much that can appeal to modern audiences. Serialized TV is the norm now; The long stor…

You know what could work out these days? A good Stellaris mod. Seems to handle the ship customization and interstellar politics angle well while also offering support for story-based event triggers (see: Star Trek New Horizons)

One year later, does anyone play this? I don't currently own any expansion packs, but my singleplayer games have been super satisfying. Anyone up for a league?

Oh, I should also add that I've become an expert at lithobraking quadcopters.

I'm glad to see the follow-up/check-in. Overall, how would you rate this experience? Please leave a comment in our web zone letting us know.

Congrats, A2597! Indoctrinate it early; Marathon B5 at bedtime! Well, thought I'd finally chime in here. * Bought a house on a moderately sized chunk of land in the middle of rural Canandaigua, NY * Acquired an African Tortoise named Chewbecca…

I have to comment here for awareness of Captain Disillusion's cause. You're doing the lord's work, DarthCaligula! For those unfamiliar, I highly recommend you check out his Youtube channel. It's a source of great entertainment and insight. Peop…

I fell in love with this show during Season 1, then marathon-viewed all of Season 2 during a flight from New York to Las Vegas. With few exceptions, I agree that it is simply one of the best "Long burn" scifi shows I've ever seen. There are so man…

I think the perplexing situation you run into these days is that while arcs are nearly required for Scifi and fantasy genre shows, they need to hit home with the audience and advertisers within the first five episodes to secure a future. If the sho…

Clearly, the bar represents 4chan.

This game is amazing. There is already an active modder community in their forum making parts that allow for significantly more advanced multi-stage launch vehicles.

It's a shame this set isn't on DVD and available for purchase through mainstream retail chains. Oh, wait. ;)

I have started Ringworld. It has become my lunchtime reading. Wish me well. (so far, I merely myself for not getting into it sooner)

SpiritOne, you have my sympathies. If communication isn't handle right on both sides, things can go sour unexpectedly quickly. It's a shame. If you ever need the comfort of a cuddly beagle, I might be able to help out. Regarding the thread t…

So I take it "Final" has been redefined sometime recently. ;)

Just because it's a +1 doesn't mean I don't already have a stacking modifier that ties into my active inventory. The most amazing thing so far is just how many smartphones, laptops, and other random crap I've got laying around that has no use in an…

BASTAGES! One day, i'll be able to attend a launch.

Because I don't yet have a new address :P

Aaaaand....I'm moving again in two weeks. Juniper is improving, the cleaning operation has begun. All things are looking up.

this may be short, it it is fantastic! You've preserved the mood of the original shots, but added enough detail to make them feel modern. I think the modern Jump point and interior engine textures make for the biggest improvements I most immed…

We might have an FO on this gig soon enough. Keep your eyes peeled...

Also, my current goings-on: I'm employed full-time as Email/Phone Tech Support for a fancy products company. It sounds lame, but it pays well and the job is actually quite satisfying. It's also an honest 9-5, something I had been longing for.

I'd also like to mention that at some point, Still Alive (the portal theme) and the Bad Horse songs became the course anthems. I never truly understood how strongly this particular generation has latched onto Still Alive until I saw my group cause …

Resuming where I left off... Days 1-2 I'm going to skip past the boring parts where I was dwelling on what the hell I would actually do and jump ahead and start with the first two days of the course itself. It was crazy. It was fun. …
