Finally got started on S3, holy craps its good, great pacing. A couple times I have intended to grab one episode, but ended up binging 3 at a time.

Great article, been a while since I thought about the core of B5

Season 3 will be on Amazon Prime Feb 8th...currently rewatching S1 an S2 in 4K to get ready.

Awesome! Congrats! As a current foster parent and having adopted siblings it's an amazing journey onto which you are about to embark. While we only been fostering a short time, let me know if you guys need any support or advice. These kids are…

Wife bought me S2 on Amazon for Valentines day, so now I'm caught up to the SyFy's airing. Latest episode "Home" was pretty damn good.
-
Lol, maybe magnetic strips on the bottom of the bags? I ordered the book off Amazon, hopefully I like it...haven't read a good Sci-fi book in a loooonnnnggg time. Jake

Finished up season 1 and while I normally like shorter season formats, 10 episodes felt way to short in this case, which left the final episode feeling more like a mid-season climax than a resolved season....anyway since we don't have cable, guess w…

On your last point, one of the running threads in the show, at least in the Delenn's mind, is that the universe is a conscience unto itself. From that point of view there are no ridiculous coincidences, just the universe trying to take action. Jake

Thanks Croxis...been meaning to do this a long time, finally loaded this and got it running on my Win10 machine, WHOOT! A very cool flying around, even in the 5x6 window in the upper left of my monitor. Flying near to the different ships and heari…

To your last point, which is very salient, I think in general humans have a strong need for order, even if we aren't all that good at expressing or implementing it. Having perception that our memories are accurate and consistent lends to that sense…

Not much of one for conspiracy theories, but I do think it is an interesting study in how inaccurate and biased by perception the human memory can be. I think many of those grew up pronouncing BerenstEIn and so our memories perceive an "e" instead …

Oh and one more thing I like about the Expanse...the bridge is at the center of the ship where it friggin belongs....
-
And if you're a car guy, with Prime, you get The Grand Tour with the former Top Gear trio.
-
Hrm, now onto Season 5, having a bit of a hard time getting excited for some of the Byron-centric episodes, esh he can be annoying. Day of the Dead is a good one though.

THANK YOU!!! Even if its my mom. Jake

That's true, that was used to good effect. Read somewhere that the costume didn't look good, so adding the blur was a way to cover up bad costuming. Jake

Bump, bump, bump, bump, bump... Making up for lost time...

Now into Season 4, still funny how there are some words of warning, specifically in some of the dialog in Exercise of Vital Powers...just a tad bit scary... Also, I am thinking that Lines of Communication may actually be the worst episode of the se…

Are there any upcoming telescopes or other measurement systems (such as Webb) that would potentially allow direct observation of the planet? I know it's proximately to its parent star makes it difficult, but it would be cool to actually "see" it. …

Cool project! Also nice Beatle in the background, looks like an early 60s? Jake

5 years between bumps BUMP!

Started rewatching not too long ago, as my wife had not seen B5, and I'd not watched it in 10 years likely! What struck me is how contemporary the subject matter seems to be. Season 1 Eps like War Prayer and The Sky Full of Stars definitely convey…

Fear the orange aardvark!

I'm playing farming simulator...that is all.

LOL needed that! Brought a big smile to my face this morning!

Hmm, just in the middle of replaying HW & HW2, so a ground based RTS with the atmospherics and strategic methods of HW sounds like fun. Hopefully it allow unit retention from mission to mission. Jake
-
LOL, that isn't a particularly hard level. It's more of a reward for beating that particular world. There is another great level with a mariachi version of Eye of the Tiger.

Merry merry Christmas!

Mine too! Been getting back into R/C racing, after an 17 year hiatus. Here is the Team Associated T5M truck I got earlier this year: And this was my early Christmas present, an Associated B5M buggy, still in the process of being built: Jake

Thanks SD...yep that was the mission, defending the Repemption. Don't know how many times I had to restart that mission until I realized that as soon as the first wave of bombers were taken care of, you had to divert all power to engines and book i…
