thank goodness, LOL. i posted this in the old forums, so i'll post it here again. Can u bump me up to moderator? And are we gonna have tags in this forum, (i.e. buda5: modeller, scripter, etc...)

How do you put up an avatar image like roi's?

    Tags ... I don't know.

    Avatar ... user cp -> edit options -> change avatar at the bottom (choose one or upload your own with size 64x64 pixels).

    ATTN: Moderating Buda5 boards

    Moderating rights for all devs is fine by me, although I question the usefulness. I had to moderate the old forums only once or twice during their 3+(?) year life span. I DON'T want anybody to touch any user's posts unless there is a [B]DAMN GOOD REASON[/B] for it. Moderating rights are not editing rights. I don't want to see any moderation frenzy on the buda5 boards.

    i completely agree... and it's not as if i absolutely have to be, it's more of a pride and rank thing, LOL. i just don't like having trainee by my name, also, lets say u and roi are gone for some period of time (which tends to happen to all of us around here) i could still moderate should something out of the ordinary happen.

    If it's only that trainee looks bad under name it would be just fine to have Buda5 tag under name instead of moderator status. Considering we newest members have been around 1-1,5 years and oldest about 3 years (?) it would be nice thing to have. Altough not necessary, forum tag shouldn't affect positively to coding or modelling ;).

    well my request i think has a little more backing seeing as at least in the past few months, the only people that were constantly around were indie, me, and roi. and seeing as i check the forums 7-8 times a day... everyday (yes i have no life) and i know alot about what i'm doing (i am after all an IT Programmer, web designer, and graphic designer), and in the absence of simon, i am the head of the modeling department, so it seemed a logical request. Not to mention i contribute a heck of a lot to what we're doing.

    Hey, you have a better schedule than me.... lately it's been to bed at 10am and up at 7pm, LOL... anyways here's a screenshot of what i was talking about about the image code.     On a more serious note, how do we introduce new members to Buda5 now that the dev forums are simply invisible to non devs. It was easy when all we had to was to give a password. Do we now have to contact Samfam etc. or can our own Buda5-moderators do the job?

    Just a tought since flexibilty in recruiting new member has always in my view been our strenght.

    Sanfam has to do this job but like you all recognized he did well and fast with updating the list in the last days.

    Right, i think now that Buda5 is on the new forum software, it's not as much of a pain for him to do, so i'm thinking it shouldn't be much of a problem.

    @ roi...
