This is my third computer since I started reading about B5:ITF! Now I got adsl 256/128 and in july my ISP will upgrade the conection to 512/512 and it will cost me 1€ less/ month!:D
I joined shortly after you did, and I was in the same boat, I found out about the game after it was cancelled.
Actually I had a bit of a epiphany, I though hmm someone should make a sim based on B5 with its use of realistic physics. I then headed to the web to see if there was one out there and that's when I found this place.
I lurked for a bit on the Sierra boards then here for about 3 months before finally joining here. I kinda regret not joining earlier actually, could have done so around November of 1999 but never did. Back then I was still a student and had internet access only on the uni workstations... Its amazing how much time has passed really.
I know the feeling.... I could have joined soooooo much earlier (actually, as early as the old sierra boards). But at that time I was really ignorant of computer stuff (hell, I was barely 12   ). I wish I had joined earlier...
You don't remember your old 'friend' Connor MacLeod?
No. Should I? Internet folks are about as important to me as canadian pennies. So I tend to forget handles and such because they are very low on the "real life relavance" scale.
Checking in. outofstep... right, remember the name but not much anything else though, welcome back. :) A lot of the old lurkers are still here, most of 'em at least visit once in a while to see how the crew's doing. We're here, more or less. ;)
I tend to specialize in my skillz; lurking is one of those. :D
But yeah, I've got fond memories of the Firstones group, and I flip through the forums every couple of months. I'll have to try and hang out a little more often down here. :) It's quite an accomplishment that firstones.com is still going so strong all this time after ITF has been gone!

I just made it to DSL this year. And this is my third computer since the beginning.
Must have been before your time. :)
Aye, I didn't join until after it was cancelled. Actually, I didn't really find out about the game until after it was cancelled.

I hate to say it, but I remember you. :)
Wow... I can't remember who the hell I was when I first started posting here. I guess those years really do fly right on by...
