When did they delay the release untill July?
I just hope they don't screw it up --- PLEASE tell me they didn't screw it up. I'm a little worried given what I see in the trailer = but I'll hope!
It's to bad the girl doesn't have a bit more of a chest - but what can you do - I'm a leg guy anyway...
Da Da, Dum, Da Dum...
Da Da, Dum, Da Dum...
Skynet has become self aware!

EDIT: Hmmm. Trailer seemed pretty good (I liked the opening part until the hovercraft typoe thing sped away at way to fast a pace). I just hope they dont screw this up....
It will be crap, so say the wise Alaundo
I think its going to be very poor. I'll go see it but I haven't got my hopes up.
Now when I saw the Superbowl trailer for The Matrix Reload my jaw almost hit the floor! Its gonna be one cool film ;)
Oh man.. Terminator was JC's baby from day1. I'm sure there's a perfectly sordid gut-wrenching explanation why he got pushed out:p
Maybe he was happy with the two that he made. After all, he finished the story at the end of the second one.
Did he? Did he really? ;) There is/was an arm still out there...
Also the full "saga" is not yet finished there could in fact be four movies at a minimum (it depends on what happens in T3)...
I like the Terminator movies because it's not a bunch of computer graphics stuff for the sake of CG. There is real human stunt work and action...
Keanu Reeves < Arnold Schwarzenegger

I thought the arm was also destroyed, it was dropped in first, the rest of the first robot was flat as a pancake, the arm and the second terminator were melted down the reaserch facility trashed and T-1000 also melted for toasters.. what was left?

Okay - Let's think about T2 for a second...
We have T-1000 (Liquid Guy)
We have T-800 (Arnold)
We have CPU Chip from the first movie at lab.
We have Arm from the first movie at the lab.
Item Status Dis/Agree
T-1000 - Melted - Agreed
Chip from first movie - Melted - Agreed
Arm from first movie - Melted - Agreed
SO! - We have Arnold left - Do you recall when arnold gets his arm caught in the "mashing" machine? He tears it off and leaves it behind. Do you recall how he had to shoot with one arm for a while in the final scenes? Do you recall when he lowers into the pit - he's missing one arm and is holding onto the chain with the other... Only one arm was tossed into the molten metal, and it was from the lab!!! Hence - Missing arm still out there. Hmmm....
;)
How good was that remaining arm that was mashed in the machine?
:D
I'm fairly sure the lower half of the arm was still in okay shape... ...but it has been a while...
I thought Arnold was a T-101...

That's one thing that keeps bothering me, everyone says Arnold's a T-800, while it's clearly stated in the first movie he's a T-101. Reese says the T-800s had rubber skin and were easy to detect, they didn't have human skin, blood etc.
On the arm being left behind, they don't really have much to go on, IMO. Dyson said it was the CPU that was the remarkable piece, giving them whole new ideas. An arm isn't really a critical piece of the technology, aside from maybe some fancy mechanics.
(Holy sh*t - I hit the 40th post  Who says I lurk mostly)

T-800, Cyberdyne Systems Model 101.

Frankly the temporal paradoxes hurt my head.
All the Great Movies Come out on my Birthday.... July 2!!! WOOHOO!! Can't WAIT!
I know the feeling....My birthday is also July 2nd....:)
My Wife's is The 4th and our Anniversary is the 3rd....:)

I know what you mean. Any way you work it- something always has to survive. Otherwise, none of the Terminator story would have happened (i.e. when they "destroy" everything there would be no first arnold to come kill her, no second arnold to come save her- there would be nothing). This is why I dont like thinking about time travel. Really hurts my head :D
hah hah...
Movie should be called C2: Rise of the Corporations...
