    Living in the outback of the Sierra foothills, who the hell would know you were flying it? There'd be hours and hours of fun (and broken bones) before anyone would find out. Just think of the fun chasing cattle across those rolling hills on a nice spring day.* Besides, just think of how cool it'd be, looking at the technology. Wouldn't it be a great ice breaker at a party?

    As far as i can tell from that article, they just don't want you flying it until they have unveiled it to the public, i think you'd be able to fly it eventually.

    ouch. Hate to think of what will happen if it runs out of fuel at 1,000 feet!

    Personally I want one of these. It has a parachute in case you DO run out of gas.
