Found: Good old boy in need of a space on the web

yeah, i've had too much caffine in my system recently, so i've been playing with Flash MX at an inhumanly fast pace, and i just have one problem, the site i've built/am working on needs alot of space, die to the fact it'll be hosting a plethora of Images, an MP3 or two as an "MP3 of the Month" deal, and various other things.

Seeing as how this is all going to take up quite some space, im in need of a good host with hopefully unlimited bandwidth and quite possibly 100+/unlimited web space. Now, I need help from Y'all, Where do i find this place? i've searched all over the 'net for a good host, but all of them arent exactly what im looking for.

Any good ideas for a free host? and if not, guess im off to paid hosting!

    Theres no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth" and you certainly aren't going to find what you require for free.

    Hmmm...yeah...you won't find that for free unless you know someone with free server space...I got 500MBs free that way, but that is very unusual.

    You MIGHT be able to set something up cheap if you were to build a cheap server and ask an admin if you could leave it there if you were to pay for the bandwith used. (only mention the payment if he says no)

    Shoot me an e-mail if you want to talk. I haven't looked at free web hosts in a while (2 years or more), but I can ask around.

    I'll tell you right now that most only allow 10-50 megs for space.

    What is a good FREE web space? I don't have money for even the cheap ones (especially since I don't have a dire need for the web space).

    Lycos UK: Hmm... yea but the FTP doesn't work for anyone outside of Europe it seams, and the web ftp is a pain!!! I've been using web2ftp and uploading my sites with zip files though.

    You might take a look at web1000... they might be adding ads soon, and visitors from non english speaking countries may be redirected to porn unfortunately. They also have terrible tech support and the ftp is frequently down - I'm moving all the stuff I have with them to other servers, but they might work for you.

    I don't think there are any good free providers for high traffic sites. All these people just putting files (especially music) on their pages with no real content or substance are screwing it up for the rest of us.
