    It will never happen in the US. If it did, I would bet that within 2 hours of the law being passed, the internet would show signs of trouble..within 24, the whole thing would stop.

    Not only that, but electronic entertaiment is a huge business and an integral part of the US economy, and one of the few sectors with growth right now.

    Sounds like a law they haven't thought through very well, given that 53% of the population probably doesn't even know what a computer game is.

    Talk about administering cold medicine to cure a cancer....

    Poverty and dispair are the reasons gangs crop up. They are no a bunch a video game junkies that get so hyped up they feel like shooting someone. I would venture to say that if they were a bunch of video game junkies, there'd be a lot less killings. Hard to kill some one when your mashing buttons on a controller.

    Greece and Honduras are closely [i]linked[/i] to the U.S. (Truman went to Greece in the '50s; the U.S. went to Honduras sometime between 60s and 90s I think) Anyway, if you seriously think this ban is insane, write your congressman. The U.S. could easily exert enough pressure to destroy this ban forgetting all that melarky about the U.S. not interfering in or having control over the affairs of others. Good luck!

    They reported it on the BBC with all the usual omissions -- it was sad... the elected government must pander to the military as if its dad. And dad knows best, right? The military spokesman said everything a Western media could want to hear: "we're preventing Islamic fundamentalism blah blah blah". Yes, and indeed it is true; one of those fundamentals is: government under the direction of and responsibility to its people (if you are Sunni at least).

    Some how that [b]Seems Very[/b] Wrong. It would just lead to more Hate towords the U.S. Its realy up to the people of those countrys to do somthing about it.
