Face on Mars A Paramind

Captain,SimmondsCaptain,Simmonds Trainee trainee
in Zocalo v2.0
Dont know if a spelled Paramind right. Anyway the other day I was looking at a picute of the face on mars(remember the one that NASA Took during the Viking Missions), When I took Note of some thing. I looked at the face, then I looked at its shadow. The Shadow Did not look rounded, Like it should have been, it looked more streight and on a angle like you would see on a paramind's Shadow.

    Yeah, in fact when I saw those images i came up with a theory about it's origin. Here's two images to use to visualize it.

    I believe that this mountain is an extinct shield volcano that is millions of years old. The outline in green is the remaining caldera.

    We know that Mars had a shallow ocean millions of years ago. The outline in red is the ocean floor. The outline in blue is the surface level of the past ocean where a majority of the errosion of the mountain took place before the ocean dissappeared. Since then the mountain has stayed relatively the same for millions of years except for chemical and wind errosion occurances.

    Now this is a theory, so I invite others possible explanations...
