  blödsinn.... die announcements von SciFi betrafen nur miniserien... keine serien mit mehr als 7 folgen....
  Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, irgendwelche ankündigungen über eigenproduzierte serien (richtige serien) gelesen zu haben..

  Ich sehe das ähnlich wie RE. In besagter Meldung ist nur die Rede von Miniserien und einem Einzelfilm, nix von normalen Serien. Daher kann man daraus kaum Rückschlüsse auf den Status von B5:LR ziehen.
  Es gibt aber auch noch eine [url="http://tv.zap2it.com/news/tvnewsdaily.html?24969"]umfangreichere Meldung[/url], die noch über mehrere andere,neue Projekte berichtet, darunter auch eine "normale" Serie namens "Firestarter" die SCIFI in Auftrag gegeben hat, Von B5 keine Spur. Trotzdem würde ich aber auch das nicht überbewerten und dieser Sache keine so große Bedeutung zumessen.
  
  Wäre die Serie schon endgültig gescheitert, hätte sich JMS wohl schon gemeldet. Daher sollten wir im Moment am besten nach dem Motto: "Keine Nachrichten sind gute Nachrichten" die Hoffnung noch nicht Aufgeben.

  naja rosig schauts für LR aber trotzdem nicht aus
  schließlich hat JMS jetzt selber shcon geschrieben, dass SciFi eher [i]keine[/i] serie machen wird...

  Das stimmt natürlich gar nicht fröhlich. Seltsam ist allerdings, dass ich auf keiner anderen Seite so eine Meldung finden konnte, selbst auf jmsnews.com nicht.
  Ich vermute fast, dass es sich bei der Nachricht von JMS, auf die sich die Meldung beruft, um den bereits bekannten Usenet-Beitrag von JMS handelt, der auch schon weiter oben zitiert wird. Evtl. haben die dieses Posting nur etaws "radikal" ausgelegt. Leider muss man natürlich bedenken, dass diese Auslegung nicht gerade unwahrscheinlich ist.

  Der unveränderliche optimist in mir möchte das natürlich so sehen, daß SciFi erst einmal TLADIS noch einmal austrahlen will, um zu sehen, wie es sich gegen "normale konkurenz" tut...
  
  der pessimist meint, daß noch wahrscheinlicher ist, daß Crusade fortgesetzt wird, als das das geschieht, was der optimist meint...

  Der letzte Satz ist natürlich besonders bitter, aber wohl leider wahr. Allerdings macht er die Entscheideung des SciFi-Channels auch nicht gerade verständlicher. Der Vorschlag des Optimisten in RE wäre dafür vielleicht eine Lösung.

  why I haven't urged writing campaigns or anything else.
  
  I set out to tell the story I wanted to tell, and I told it. If something else
  in the B5 universe comes along, terrific, I'm there...but if not, that's okay
  too. It's like Zack said in Sleeping in Light, which was meant as a sorta coda
  to the production of the show...everything we set out to do, we did, and nobody
