Since ItF is practically saved, should I focus my efforts on Crusade?

Since ItF is practically saved, should I focus my efforts on Crusade? Including all the nasty stuff towards Sierra? Er... just something about them... their logo... their name... that makes me want to tie all of them to a post and make them watch re-runs of Voyager

Practically saved? That wouldn't be the phrase I'd use. Potentially saved perhaps, but does that really say anything?

But Rick, one of the many valiant soul's willing to see ItF through to the end, has informed me that "Your Ideas For Saving The Game" is now a *practically* redundant area (All those topic posts for nothing ). He said, basically, all that's left is to fix up all that publisher stuff. I'd say that's pretty good news . What isn't good news is Crusade has been cancelled and I was wondering if I (or everyone at FirstOnes) should try to save it.

    Please allow me to clarify:

    I said no such thing.

I've never said that the "Your Ideas For Saving The Game" is reduntant, or even close to it.

Things *are* looking bright for ItF, but they are, by no means, solid. Please refrain from rumor and innuendo. When we have solid information, we will post it.

    Regards,

    -Rick

So is that a "go" on all the current ideas to save the game? It's good to get a head start and if by chance they aren't needed, they could be transferred to Crusade or buying the forum members a copy of ItF... GOD DAMNIT!!!

Er... I made a mistake Rick and I apologize. Randy actually said what you corrected me on and I may have misinterpreted it (it was probably late at night anyway). It was the thread "Want to a know a great way to save the game?" or some such, really sorry...

BTW, what would Sierra say to having their logo on a modified enemy ship? It could be a big promo for them. I know they know many of the fans are upset with them but I'm not entirely sure every B5 fan knows about this whole ItF cancellation kaffufle. Many could be PC newbies or, like me, have recently joined the B5 fan base since B5 now airs three times a day on the "Space Station". So there is a good chance Sierra's promo will be affective on that portion of ItF's consumer base. As for justifyable reasons, none, but one does come close. Sierra did pour in the funds necessary to complete seventy percent of the project so it only fitting that they get at least a molecule of credit. Besides, think how fun it would be for us, at FirstOnes, to blow a hidden Sierra Shadow BattleCrab into space chunks.
