Ok after reading all this stuff about big mumma ass ships at B5mg I have decided to start a Firstones.com Fighter comp!

Rules!
------

1) It is not a firstone fighter!!!
2) It can only carry 1 person
3) Size not to exceed "overkill"
4) It cannot be butt ugly! (now this is important)
5) It must be a one-of-a-kind prototype!!!
Now this is critical!!!

PS overkill is 30meters!

For my entry I need to do textures!

oh yeah! final thing! It has to be realistic to Babylon 5 or Star Trek races!!!!

(Just to limit the kinds!)

well I have a new type jump vortex to tweak!

    Single pilot Interceptor/Scout
    Speed: 90km/sec (120km/sec if using afterburner) STL, Warp 2 FTL
    Weapons: Four pulse laser cannons
    Four missile hardpoints capable of firing the Mercury missle (rated at 50kT)
    [b]Atmospheric capable[/b]

    Assuming life-support is fully operational, a pilot could survive for about a week in this craft should there be a need for it.
    Shields capable of multiple hits from romulan disruptors (capship model)

    Primary role is as a scout, and fighter interceptor if the need arrises. This ship is built for hit-and-run tactics, not for slugfests.

    Here's the only fighter I've got. As it stands it's an atmospheric/space fighter, definitly Earthforce (there's a logo on there somewhere). This pilot (me) happens to be Canadian, in case you're wondering about the other markings.

    Armed with: 8 missiles, 2 rapid fire plasma cannons.
    Engines: 6 ion engines with thurst vector ability

    Nice, though not exactly the EF's style. Looks sort of like the panther from Wing commander. I designed a fighter recently, one of my best designs to date. B5/StarWars influenced. I'll model it a soon as possible.

    Hmm, not too bad. What's the face count? Looks like you relied on texturing a lot, but that's perfect if the face count is low and you can put in dxf format.

    What are the stats, and put things like shield strength (if any), speed, armor, etc in relation to an X-wing, if you don't mind. Exact figures are also acceptable, but less useful to me if you're putting the model up for grabs.
