DXF - Lightwave6.5

How do I import a dxf file to lightwave6.5 ?
(Inside the Import menu there only the EPSF_Loader option)

    Goto Load Object as if you were loading a lwo file, at the bottom of the window that opens where it say's "File of Type" change it so it reads all files then double click on the dxf object.

    Thanks, it works with .3ds files, but not with .dxf files.
    I tried every version of Autocad dxf (r12, r13, r14, 2000) and stills doesn't works [img]http://forums.firstones.com/forums/frown.gif[/img]
    Can someone please help me???

    Her's what to do. Go here: [url="http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/"]http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/[/url] download the latest version of 3d exploration, load your object into it then save as a .lwo file either v5.6 or v6 files. If you want to keep it as a .dxf file then save it as a 'dxf file and when the options menu comes up for this type, make sure that only the following are ticked:
    "by objects"
    "export to single layer"
    "triangles only"
    then you can load this into 6.5 the way i described above. I've just checked and this way worked for me.
