Planet and Nebula rendors needed for mod

Hey everyone hope there are some talented ppl in here because i need as many nebula and planet renders of the Babylon 5 universe as possible, i am not fussy anything that is Babylon 5 related will be accepted and appreciated. I (as some of you will know) have been given the task of producing the backgrounds for the babylon 5: Freespace 2 total conversion. hop over to

    i just wanted to be exact in my needs

    I want quality jpg (preferably) ie 2D pictures (layers are nice) not 3D meshes of nebula that are fully captured (ie the edge of the pictures are pure black (or close to) just wanted to clear this up. btw i will accept any 2D pictures at can touched up with a paint package such as PSP as i have that ability, im just want to include the nebulas as accurately as possible, i'll post some pictures on this string when i put them in the game, thats if you give me any of course !

    if you notice my second post hasnt got a signature, that because the first hasnt either, its a "fake" signature, why are they banned anyway ?????

    Because most people use modems and it takes a long time when some inconsiderate person (or maybe forty incosiderate people) use an image in their sig over and over and over.

    You want spherical renders, right? What resulution? With stars or without?

    fair enough point, but this forum doesnt display signature even if i did have one (which i do), but hey i didnt know this so stop making me feel like ive broke the law or something ! it was 1 20Kb picture with a feable (critisism accepted there) caption...

    anyway no stars plz, my neb will be 512 by 512 resolution but the bigger the better (around 1000x1000 would be great) preferable with the nebs in scale to how they are seen in the show, i would allow like B5 "looking" nebula, not specific nebula as a variety are needed

    spherical ??? i dont know what you mean by that, i just want 2D jpegs of the nebulas, if that what you mean then yes!

    Freespace2 will use the nebulae pics as transparent bitmaps. The stars will be provided by the FS2 engine itself.
    So the pics have to be without stars.

    Freespace 2 and its traits :

    The nebulae pics ( after White edited them ) will be 256 colors and have a size of 512*512

    The Freespace engine uses 16m colors. We do also need a series of nebulae which have individual colors. White ones , yellow ones , green ones , and so on. We need them with different shapes and layouts. The point is that in FS2 we can combine them : If 2 nebulae spare identical locations ( and nebulae are transparent ) the engine will mix the colors. With several small nebulae we can make up 1 big nebula.
    And of course we need a lot of beautiful ones, just as requested. We just need everything.
