...do me a favour by rendering a top and side view of a few b5 ships and creating a new model based on a top secret picture i drew?

    Will the full already made sprite suffice? I know you said your program rotates the picture atomaticly, but could you used already made rotated pics? Also, what color background is needed?

    Ok, let me put it another way, what if I gave you thirty images of the same ship, prerotated? Would you be able to use that? Because I can't thing of any way to make the one image look good.

    Oh, and I took some liberity on the scale. It's gonna be a pixel= half a meter, but I warn you, those fighters are gonna be pretty darn small.

    Like that, or each ship is thirty files all shown in different directions in each file. I can do any one.

    DoM: Why not just make the fighters a bit oversized? No one is going to be bugging you if it still is playable.
    It's an arcade style shooter. It should work fine, right worf?

    Just send the ships in one direction, the others wont be needed.

    But thats what I'm saying: I can't make on direction look good. All I need to know is what can and can't be done.

    It only has to be top down (the side views would be nice but i can survive without them)
    and facing either < > ^ or V
    And it should be saved in 16 million colour bmp or pcx format. (JPG messed up the background, which should be 0,0,0)

    Depends on the amount of compression used. I can have JPEGs with no artifacts at all. Check out some of my pics.

    If it works, try it.

    The whitestar picture up near the top of this thread is the original one i used in Thirdage (except this one is in jpg format)
    I imported it and then had the games factory rotate it.
