    Vorlons, definetly.
    during the last few eps leading up to the big battle with the Shadows Vorlon, and the whole ISA, the vorlons went on a grand killing spree, unstoppible force.

    Now to mention...the VPK's main beam would be MUCH more effective then the missiles in the SPK...

    Hmmm, Im not sure, so dont take my word for it, but I think that in the ep. where sheridan tells the crew about the truth of the Vorlons, Garibaldi is all "well who is our new best friend here" and so on, they mention it. Perhaps it was Sheridan, its been a couple of years since I saw the eps.

    I believe you're thinking of Delenn's statement: "They were old when even the ancients were young."

    I don't see how the statement implies that Shadows are older than Vorlons, though.

    Actually, there are a few races that used shielding in the B5 Universe. The Abbai, the fighters from the 3RD Space universe, and some others... Unlike Star Trek though, it is not prevalent...

    Also, the screens used by the EA ships are not shields. There is a difference between delfection and absorbtion technologies.

    Though that point is moot since they rarely use them.

    The Vorlons and Shadows are close to the same age. Lorien said they were "children", kinda like we're "children" of the Vorlons and Shadows. Delenn's statement is rather vague. All she said was that the Shadows are very old, not that they are older than the Vorlons. Remember that there are other 'ancients'. Remember Epsilon3?

AtoZ of Babylon 5 puts the Shadows as an ancient race,well before the Vorlons showed up!The Vorlons were the newest of the First Ones.The Reason i mentioned the Shadows as being an ancient race,rule of thumb in the B5 Universe,the older the race,the more powerful they are.There technology is superior,and the longer there life span is.The newer the race,their technology is not as good & the shorter their life span is.The Vorlons made out they were more powerful than they were!     get that last first one Lorien says "I will intoduce you to them now. They are almost as old as the Vorlons..."

    excuse me but when i was writing about shields, i was writing not about energy shields for the ships, ...i was writing about shields for the crew,...mental shields.

    as the crew controled the ships and the ships were organic ..the vorlons maybe have the same problem..or not (remember third space and the lords of death)?.

    and if the shadows were older they must have telepaths and telepaht tech,...they didnt need others almost for some ships, and if they need they can take telepaths as the vorlons too.

    did u played...star control..do u remember the dinyarri?.
