DVD Concept has the Season 1 DVD available to pre-order!!!!! Price is £55.99 UK. Which is bloody excellent!!!!! Actual release is on the 5th November.

Update: Blackstar.co.uk are also allowing pre-orders, and are charging £43.99!!!!! Great saving!!!!! ANd they say its will be released on the 14th October!

    note that the dvdconcept box set is region 1 and the blackstar claims to be region 2.
    Perhaps this is why there is a different release date?

    Oddly, they are claiming it is Aspect Ratio: Standard 1:33.1 [4:3]
    not widescreen as we have been led to expect.

    Perhaps a typo on their part.

    The different release date and different aspect ratio make me wonder if they actually have information from WB or are just putting something up as a placeholder.

    I think he's mistaking the date, us silly americans put the month first, so it would be 11/05/02, not 05/11/02. He might have missed that its a british site.

    I reckon its a muck up, but I'm a bit concerned as to what the Region 2 set will be like. Remember what they did for the ITB/Pilot Region 2 dvd?? Split it into 2 seperate dvd's charging £15 each for them. I really hope they keep both Region 1 & 2 sets the same.

    Cheers for that Ranger Brian. Thats a good price actually. I've never bought from Blackstar though, they're usually very expensive, esp when compared to Play.com or Cdwow.com... however neither have the boxset listed yet.

    Hmm, that breaks their usual trend then. Well I've just pre-ordered off 101cd.com for £45.99 inc delivery. I think we're pretty lucky with these prices, as I was expecting something around £65 which is what the Buffy and Angel dvd boxsets were priced at when they first came out (web prices of course, not HMV/Virgin we love ripping you off because we can). Oh well all I have to do now is wait.....

    Another update on the pre-order prices of the Region 2 box set from play.com.

    They have yet again slashed the price from £39.99 to an amazing £33.99 delivered.

    I've just cancelled my previous order and re-ordered at the new lower price.
    I wish they would automatically change it for you but for obvious reasons they don't - so if you want to gain a further £6 saving then head over to play.com
