Babylon 5 DVD Region 2 questions...

In europe, was The Gathering only released at UK or why I can't find it in any stores here at Finland? Or was it postponed in elsewhere in europe till episodes start coming as DVD's?
Anyway got In the begining at least.

About The Gathering UK release, was there any additional subtitles present, like Finnish, or did they really bother to make different releases across europe for also that title?

    I was amazed by that! What a rip off... glad I went for the Region 1 version, worked out so much cheaper.

    I'd actually prefer to have separate discs, but I can't afford that.

    Not necessarily. In Germany, The Gathering wasn't released because the 'special edition' was never dubbed in German. Maybe the same reason holds for a finnish release (or lack of it).

    I'll bet they release the pilot together with the first season (or at least I hope so).

    Fortunely they don't do dubs here [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] I think the orginal soundtracks are much better than any dubbed ones. They just can't copy the feeling.

    I hope so... Or I just have to order them from UK then. Even though I would like to see thos subtitles there... but they ain't mandory.

    I read a way once for you to remove region coding from your DVD-ROM drive. Do a search for it, then just buy the Region 1 discs [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img]

    That only does the software players. You need to flash your drive with an RPC-1 firmware as well if it isn't already region free.

    You can find The Gathering from Finland from er... Well equipped DVD stores :] I have my copy of ITB and its awesome :] Didn't have money to by The Gathering at the same time.

    That's the page I use. It has pretty much every drive for which there is a cracked firmware.
