Does any1 know if a video of Legend of the Rangers will b released (to buy in the shops) in the UK? or even if it will be shown on TV in the UK?

    It is highly likely that it will come out on video. However, when it comes out is anyone's guess.

    The other movies came out on video 6 months after they were originally shown in the US, but that was when TNT owned the rights to B5. Its taken a year for the Dune miniseries to be released on dvd and video here.

    I'm in the UK and I will buy The Legend of the Rangers as soon as it is available. For the moment i have just finished downloading it off KaZaA and will watch it tomorrow! This is only really practical if you have a broadband connection which you are prepared to leave on for about 8 hours as it's 2 lots of around 400mb...

    good idea! i nvr thought of kazaa, mind u half the stuff on there are viruses, ull hav 2 let me know if it works.

    definitely works.. only got to watch 10mins before my mate took me to the pub :-) but the picture and sound are good. higher quality and size than most of the vids on kazaa. and definitely no viruses! sned me a PAL vhs of 'racing mars' from s4 and i'll send you 2 cd's of LOTR....

    Sorry i haven't got racing mars but if u r in the UK I know wer u can get it. u can buy any babylon 5 video (excluding tv movies) from any publishers outlet store (eg. the works and places like it-cheap bookshops). i hav seen racing mars/atonement (i think that is the episode that comes with it) for £3. it is the same price for any B5 vid. i got the entire season 5 in one go cos wen they first started sellin em it was buy 1 get 1 free so i got 11 videos for £16

    If you want to download 2.25 GBs of an MPG file, I've got Legend of the Rangers on my HD from when I recorded it while watching it on my TV Tuner card. Its a bit grany becuase of bad reception though [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]. And it does have commercials.

    I've got the whole thing, no commercials at 900 megs, VCD ready.

    I've compressed it down with DivX to 1GB now...haven't run it to check the quality...but it still has commercials.

    If someone wants to make the wave file, I have the GIF Anim [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] - but the converter only grabbed the first 4 minutes or so (which is 78MBs)

    btw, if you want to download it through the net, then the morpheus preview edition (www.musiccity.com) is faster. it also doesnt have so many spyware stuff.

    you could also try edonkey (www.edonkey2000.com) but it is damn hard to get it downloading fast enough. I used to be able to do that but cant no longer [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/frown.gif[/img]

    I have the Rangers on 2CDs [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img] got it from one of the guys on the board the very next day after airing through some fast server in Norway [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img])

I am collecting B5 episodes, but there arent so many on morpheus and edonkey is slow. do you know any newsgroups or othere places (I dont particularly like newsgroups) where I could download then from.     Morpheus is so slow as to be completely useless for modem users, as it uses the Gnutella network. As for eDonkey, I can never get on any servers.
