you'd be suprised what you can do with styrene foam guys... go find a commerical refridgeration business, one that makes cool rooms etc... you can prolly scab enough material to build a warlock the size of a bus...
With a Exacto and an Olfa Knife and some PVA glue you can make all your B5 wet dreams come true.
Just dont try to paint it with anything but acyrlics... or you will have a pile of sludge or some nice looking 'asteroids' as the foam disintergrates..
I once made a couple of Grey alien heads for a TV commercial this way. They were hollowed out and split in half so that the halves could be put around the heads of a couple of young actors. They had half silver Mylar eyes, turned around with the black side looking out. The kids could see out, but from the outside the eyes looked opaque. The seams were covered with white tape, quickly covered with white paint. The video was shot slightly over-exposed. The seams were invisible. The only problem? poly styrene is great insulation. The kids heads roasted inside the props. So we had to quickly put them into the alien heads, quickly get the shot, and then quickly get the kids out of there before their brains fried. No kids were harmed in the filming of this commercial.

No need to panick or to use desesperate methods..! (dumping the whole thing into the open trunk of an unmarked truck at night).
I have already planned to make a VERY large one-of-a-kind, or two-or-three-of-a-kind Earth All. fighter, pretty similar to the one from the computer games show. But i can tell this won't be for this year. More for late next year or so. But i tell you in advance guys, this won't be cheap, for, the last time i spent doing a giant model project, it took 6 months, FULL time (!). A project like this would not be below 4 to 6000.
The material of choice would also be fiberglass, because, at those sizes, resin tends to droop (a lot...)(those thin wings with big engines). So, it/they would be made entirely by hand (no moulds here were you can cast stuff, or only minimal)(besides, you can imagine the cost in silicon for something that big....)(at 300 a gal., that would barely cover one engine...).
While i do not have such a model yet, you can alway go see my little web site, and drool over what is already there (including the giant project i mentionned), plus lots other things, at:

Me too! I like the way this topic is going, man if we could get our hands on the fury it would be awesome. And a model of a Warlock would kick ass! I'd pay real money to see one of those! I have a friend who makes models from scratch, but its all WW II fighters and bombers... he gets copies of the original blue prints and works up from there. He made an amazing Stuka diver bomber, from balsa wood. He even made the engine, which you could look at, the engine covers were made from old Coke cans. NOw if only I could convience him to make some B5 models.....

This isn't about getting a Starfury model. It's about getting a work of art out of the hands of those most undeserving and back into the hands of the artist.

Nothing from Glenn yet; but Guy says he trusts that Glenn has read my e-mail and will get back to me. I imagine Glenn is a busy guy. Guy also mentioned that they're currently going through their storage facilities. Whether it means he's looking for the Fury, or that they're doing some spring cleaning, I'm not sure. I'll keep you posted.

Let's hope they're not doing spring cleaning. Who knows what good stuff they'll throw out.
