    It's not "possible" now. It's definite. As I understand it, Showtime has already purchased episodes of the show.

    Hasn't joe learned that movie channels are bad luck for him, yet?

    As far as Jeremiah's premise is concerned, though, it sounds pretty dicey; It's certainly original, and it has a lot of potential, but it looks like it'll have a major dependance on child actors, unless, of course, we're just assuming that the virus died out and hasn't survived with the kids as hosts. I suppose that remains to be seen...

    Actually, the story takes place a few years after the virus has wiped out the adult population, so the kids have grown up and are young adults now IIRC.

    This sounds very similiar to 'The Tribe' which was an Australian programme

    Except in 'The Tribe' they never actually progressed anywhere and it kind of fell into a teen-drama

    But it was a good idea

    Jack, JMS has already been confronted about that very similarity...but he has said there's very little in common with that episode. Like everything else, we'll just have to wait and see...

    I'd say that Lord of the Flies is a pretty big stretch. There are a few remote similarities, but they're not close in the least.
