    I may do just that, Funny thing, I got picked to beta 3 weeks ago, but the invite got filtered to Junkmail, So i just started this weekend! lol.

    I don't know. It feels too linear for a MMO. Maybe I'm just not far enough into it yet.

    I am at Adari Vaal.. or some such european server. Tai'po is mah name, empire is my game.

    And yes, even though I have enjoyed it so far, and had some fun doing an instance or flashpoint with some friends, it is rather linear..

    It feels more like one of those Old Republic games with added multiplayer. Not that it would be a bad thing, but at the moment I am not seeing myself giving it as many pointless and wasted hours of my life as I have given to WoW.

    I need a new puter and I dont want to get one until Im free for xmas. Im horrified at how much time this game will eat up. Ill probably be playing in an empire pvp guild and a republic pve guild. Ill mostly be playing empire though, because red-skinned people rock, whether youre sith, zabrak or twilek. :)

    I'm playing too. I'm aiming to try all the different classes during the beta, so I can get an idea for which I want to play properly when it goes live (and so I know which enemy classes to target when going head to head! ;)).

    I've played about half the classes now, and there's not really been any I've not enjoyed playing so far. So far I'm coming down on the side of either a Jedi Knight, Republic Trooper or a Sith Inquisitor for my main toon, tho I suspect that I'll have several characters I gradually level up.

    As Entil'Zha said, I too am really enjoying the similarity to KOTOR, which more than makes up for the linearity.

    And I agree with Messiah: it is going to take up an insane amount of my free time :D

    If anyone wishes to join [URL="http://www.swtor.com/guilds/69214/obsidian-mind/"]the guild[/URL] I mentioned before, now is the time. They're going to shut down the website applications, so the only way to join will be in game after that.

    Myself and Shadowdancer are in it already, it would be good to have some other Firstones :)

    i found out i probably will not play a jedi unless it's my third character to level. played an imperial agent up to lvl 16 and got my own ship and will most likely start with a bounty hunter on sith and trooper/smugler

    curious to see what the later stages are like though it'll be tough to stay subbed if diablo 3 really comes out early next year - there's only so many hours in a day after all!

    I may do a Jedi after i get my Smuggler up, I had my Gunslinger up to lvl 15 in 2 days, going to suck having to do all those missions over again.

    I'll have to see whats what with Diablo 3 as well, since I agreed to the 1 year of Warcraft to get a free copy of D3. (I had already just paid for 6 months anyway, so i was really only agreeing to do another 6)

    Entil'Zha: thatis precisely why I'm not levelling any characters past 7 or so. I'm in again for the test this weekend, and as long as my internet doesn't crap out again, I'll finish trying out the rest of the different character classes :)

    I played classes that would not be my first choice when the game is released and find myself really wanting to know how their stories continue from where I left off.

    i did get an invite for this weekends test but i will skip it. i did preorder and will try it and don't want to take away my enjoyment by having to play through hours of the same missions on launch.

    also, i got an invite for the tribes ascend beta so i might give that a go this weekend..:rolleyes:

    I'm also playing as classes I'd never normally play. Healers for instance, I never play as them if I have a choice ;)

    I should have done that, but I didn't, oh well. only have to replay about 36 hours

    I was in it, but I couldn't get into it. Only tried a couple hours, but it felt like every mmo I've ever tried. It's a game type I want to love but I just can't get past the mechanics and the way the world is designed to cater to 4 billion players. I guess the best analogy I can come up with is like a Disney ride, where you go through a tunnel and there's a scene and some robotic movement of something in it. Then the cart moves on and if you turn around its the same thing happening to another group of people, or you can see ahead. It just breaks it for me.

    Plus I dig not combat based around cooldown management.

    I still want to love it though :(
