[URL="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1453159/"]TPotE is a new miniseries[/URL] (8 episodes) that I've ignored for some time now. After so much scifi I was ready for some medieval action set in the British isles. Looks like another show filled with political intrigue and backstabbing. Just the way I like it. :D

In a way I like this short format, you get something that does not drag on and does not contain too much filler material, is a lot more focused and is still self-contained. No need to fear cancellation or mid-season breaks. I can live with that.

Nice sound track too. :cool:

    So far I've only seen the first episode, but I loved it.

    I just saw the second episode and I noticed that the show may be a bit raw for some viewers but then those were raw days back when people died by the sword or at the stake.

    Parental discretion is advised.
