The tasty babe on the sofa is 13 from House... hubba!
If Bruce is 3rd on the credit list then hopefully he has more than just a cameo. I actually did worry that they might do it that way, just deliver a message and toss the kid they keys... fingers crossed he gets a good few scenes.
the girl in the trailer with the short black hair plays a character on the Fox Show House. House still calls her by her number when she was on his doctor idol thing. 13.
Am I the only one who thinks that the "big bad" this time around is the original program who "died" at the beginning of the first movie? The one that looked like Flynn?
Back for revenge maybe? I dunno.. I would find it kinda fun. Might be something totally different too.
Clu was Flynn's program in the original, as I recall, the one he was trying to use to hack the MCP.
If Clu can come back, it would be cool to see Peter Jurasik's program back as well! I didn't even know he was in Tron until I watched it all the way through for the first time a week or so ago.
RubberEagleWhat's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
You need IMDB to tell you that? Any serious geek knows the name of the program is Clu....
RubberEagle, I was just going to say that! No self respecting geek should have to look up Clu's name! I hope that Bit is back in this one in some form. lol
Well, here's the thing: I only saw Tron all the way through recently.
Honestly, I wasn't terribly impressed.
Well, that's because you are 28 years too late. :D
Blade Runner was actually smart enough to side-step most of those technological pitfalls.
I didn't care for it too much myself either, I place "Tron" in the same camp as "The Black Hole" which didn't really catch on either.
Tron's premise is a bit too far fetched, but this obviously didn't stop them for making a sequel.
Well, yeah, I was born the same year TRON was made.
And maybe I didn't pay enough attention to the plot or dialogue, but Blade Runner is another movie I know I was supposed to be impressed with...but wasn't :(
Dr. Who episode the Deadly Assassin was the first time I saw a plot with a person being stuck inside a computer. Tron and Matrix I think ripped off Dr. Who.

So, the president of the Interstellar Alliance helped create the Cylons.
AHH! Purple!
And his speeches would have been way more exciting!

Unless they're naming it Tron for the sake of it.
It's still called TRON Legacy.
While Jeff Bridges said he didn't share any scenes with Bruce
So, we'll have to wait and see what that means...

I hope Bruce gets more pertinent dialogue than something about a disconnected phone line. :D
I have been told Ewan McGregor is going to have a cameo appearance in it too. ;)
Back for revenge maybe? I dunno.. I would find it kinda fun. Might be something totally different too.
I dont think they named the program he was running in the original.. So as far as I know, could be that same program out for revenge or something? :P
Will see in a few months. London Imax, here I come!
It was Clu.

When my college had a theatrical showing of Tron (they managed to get their hands on a reel around 2000), the Vax was wheeled in to watch.
