Well, that is exactly what the Doctor said, isn't it?
  • RubberEagleRubberEagle What's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
You know, the first time Amy was protected by the power of plot, the second time, not...

He He He, I love Plotholing - I should add it to my profile hobbies.

Many thanks for the welcome *helps herself to a beer & phones out for some deep dish pizza for everyone*

I am still undecided about this Doctor Who series. Matt Smith is likeable enough but I occasionally really dislike the way his 'incarnation' reacts to things though that is more a problem with the writing. Though I laugh more this series like the "Sqeaky bum time" quote (one I use a lot myself)

I like Rory. Amy is a good character though her constant shout of "Doctor!!!" is getting on my nerves. I am sure the ginger remarks are going to get people annoyed.

Disliking the crack in space/time/reality/whatever-it-is. Sometimes it isn't so subtle the way it's worked in and I prefer the JMSsubtle way of doing things.ordable

On the whole I don't mind if I miss it on it's first showing whereas the Eccleston & Tennant years were un-missable and recordable-or-else for me and my 11yr old twins.

I really like Dr Who Confidential on BBC3 afterwards though. The making of the show is facinating. Is Confidential available to watch in the US/Canada/Rest of the World for you folks?

His exact words were something about how it would be different this time because the erasure was affecting her entire life. Things were more or less the same for her whether there had been one soldier or a half-dozen. This time, huge swaths of her personal history were rewritten, from the time she was a child on. Everything had to change, and it had to change in such a way to still get her where she was at that moment.

Even then, the Doctor said that her time-traveller's insulation could let her keep both versions if she concentrated on it while the change was happening (something which is, of course, natural for the Doctor). Hm. Where else did we hear him say it was important that she remember something...?
  • I totally called it as soon as they reached the Pandorica.

Doctor: "What could inspire such fear?"
    Me: Spoiler: You, dumbass.
