It mostly runs fine, though sometimes it stops reading the disc. Really annoying when I'm playing Project Justice and am pretty far in a storyline, and it's arcade so it doesn't save... I'm wondering if this is a heating issue, but I give the fan plenty of room. Not sure what's going on with that, but it usually runs fine.
Installed Just Cause yesterday, an arcade-style third person shooter set on a tropical island where you are tasked with toppling the local government. The sequel is supposed to come out soon and I thought I might as well give this one a try as the sequel looks to be even better. The gameplay is fairly simple and yet I died getting run over by a car two minutes into the game. I just wasn't expecting to get hit by my own driver. I'll have to see if I can configure the game to stop auto-targeting, because that makes it way too easy and just pressing the trigger is getting dull real fast.
The game feels like the developers took the story from Jagged Alliance (2) and translated it into a 3D setting. I don't know if I'll be able to hire mercs, even though I do have field support coming from the previous leader who was in charge before the military coup. While this is supposed to be a sandbox game, I fear it's a bit more on rails right now than I would like.
there might actually be a reason to play Star Trek Online:
The Star Trek Online Digital Deluxe Edition offers such bonuses as five exclusive in-game items as well as the ability to play as a “Joined Trill” – a symbiote that grants you several lifetimes of experience. The five exclusive in-game items include:
* Original Star Trek Uniform Set: Three uniforms from the original series (blue, red, yellow).
* Exclusive “KHAAAN!” Emote: An unforgettable moment from the second Star Trek Film. This exclusive emote allows players to relive Kirk’s unforgettable moment of fury, with the timeless cry… “KHAAAN!”
* Exclusive Klingon Blood Wine Toast Emote: Raise a glass like a Klingon! Greet other players with an exclusive Klingon gesture –the blood wine toast.
* Unique Registry Prefix: Give your ship the coveted NX prefix, seen only on a handful of elite Starfleet vessels like the Defiant, 22nd century Enterprise, and Prometheus.
* Unique Ship Item: Automated Defense Battery. This Tactical Module grants any ship a passive 360 arc attack power with a short range.
Just finished Uncharted 2: Among Thieves couple days ago. It was enjoyable, and visually good looking. Sadly there was not that much to explore as you were following a certain path all the time, but it didn't matter in the end. Good action packed game nevertheless, but still too much shooting and not so much challenging puzzles...
I wonder when the game developers realize that its not so rewarding to try to jump on some cliff 50 times in a row falling...
I was surprised to notice my teenage dream, scifi chick Claudia Black, as voice actor for one of the main characters... But sadly I came into conclusion that she has become too old for me.
Yep. She plays the coolest character as well. Played halfway through that game as a moderately honorable dwarf noble.
Its an awesome game, expecially so since the acting and script is fantastic. The story is like a mix between three of my favourite fantasy worlds as well, which doesnt make it any worse. ;)

Im playing Silent Hunter 3....not my usual sort of game, but highly entertaining! :)
Playing the original Overlord and I'm stuck in the elven wood, where you have to destroy those protective roots to get to Oberon. I can't seem to find my way to one of those last magic balls. I guess I have to start drawing a map.
Fun little game, I'm pleasantly surprised.

STO at the moment. I'll be replaying Mass Effect 2 and Assassins Creed 2 shortly, with Dragon Age on the wishlist. Other than that there's not many I want to play at the moment
Finally played through ME1 and finished Dragon Age, also trying the free trial of Eve, but I think I enjoy reading about the in-game power struggle more than clicking and waiting...
I'll have to get Bioshock 2 some day, since I really liked the first one.

I've still not played the first Bioshock. When it first came out my pc couldnt handle it, so I upgraded....and then forgot about it. Now its in the sale bins I might go back and try it at some point, tho it'll be a few months before I have time
