In the B5: ITF universe there was a Tau Ceti system owned by the Earth Alliance, composed of the planets Tau Ceti 1-6 and their satellites orbiting the star Tau Ceti. At Tau Ceti 4 there is the Tau Ceti 4 Colony. Tau Ceti is only one jump from Epsilon Eridani.
Tau Ceti is a yellow-orange star, much like our Sun. It's about 12 ly from Earth. It is infact, very close to the real Epsilon Eridani, which is about 10.5 ly from Earth.

While much of the star layout in B5 suffered from the importance of drama, some of it is actually very accurate. Just like how all the science (with the possible exception of hyperspace) follows the true (known) laws of physics.
