I just watched the entire first season of Hero's, starting yesterday afternoon...A little late to teh party I'll admit, but dang, great series!

    Of course, it seems most shows I can think of were best in their first season, except B5.
    And I don't watch Heroes, though I have seen a few episodes from times when I was around when my brother was watching it.

    I can't bring myself to watch the 3rd season... I always find something else more interesting to look at or do.

    Basically, season two starts off slow and gets good near the end.

    Season three starts of well and just...

    Although to be fair, episode 20 of season three was excellent. It's what Heroes should be but they have a hard time pulling it off.

    Watched the entire season 1 of Dexter and then, like Biggles went up a mountain on sunday.

    Yeah, 1st season is the best unfortunately.

    so worth watching the other series?
    My only concern is that their going to find themselves emulating Xmen too much...since right now this is basically the same concept, only done differently. :)

    edit: read some reviews of seasons 2 and 3...and well...I'm content leaving it at season 1, and saying that's all there was of the show. :)

    nah, just the fact that the human race is evolving, and people are getting new abilities that let them:

    Move objects with their mind. (Jean)
    Read peoples thoughts (Professor, only weaker)
    Freeze Water (Iceman)
    Regenerate (Wolverine)
    Absorbe others powers (Rouge)
    Walk through objects (Kit / Kitty)
    Start fires (Pyro)
    Fly (Angel, but much cooler in Heros)
    Change their appearance/mind altering visions (mystique/Professor combo)

    They also presented a future where they were feared and hunted. :)

    Not at all similar to xmen. Just re-imagined, without the spandex and professor. :) (I'm not saying this is a bad thing, they did a brilliant job on it. But it does have alot of the same ideas)

    ok, so I gave in and watched season 2.

    I'm a little miffed that they did the same "End of the world catastrophe" scenerio, but ultimatly, they did is well. Claire was a little annoying this season, but overall, I enjoyed the whole thing, and am looking forward to season 3.

    Claire is always annoying because the writers can't come up with a new plotline for her, they just repeat the same one over and over.

    Well, I finally got myself to start watching the 3rd season of Heroes. It's actually not that bad, some of the episodes have some funny and entertaining moments.

    I'm half-way through the season. So far so good. Even the cheerleader is watchable now. :D

    Considering there is not much else on right now, this will have to do.

    I wound up watching the other seasons whilst bored.

    watching season 4 now. Still no idea what the end goal is. It has become more of a soap opera than action show though.
