    12 dead so far. I was worried there for a second, since my "How many drown" -guesstimate was 7 people for this summer, but apparently only 4 drowned people have been found so far. 4 people dead in the traffic, 2 stabbings, 1 fire and 1 simple falling down.

    Sweet moneyz, you will soon be mine! (mind you, only EUR 10, we only had a small bunch partaking this year.)

    But as we say in Finland, "the inner moisture is more important (than outer humidity)"... so keep yourself happy by emptying those Maßkrüge. Andechser, Augustiner, Ayinger, Hofbräu, Löwenbräu, Paulaner-Hacker-Pschorr, Schneider, Spaten-Franziskaner, Weihenstephaner... there's plenty of enticing local goodies to choose from. =)

    My personal favorite dish was the juicy Bavaria-style schnitzel served a couple of years ago in Augustiner restaurants, but it seems they've cancelled it or changed the recipe/name... "Cordon bleu vom Schwein mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat oder Pommes frites" or "Kassler Ripperl vom Rost mit Sauerkraut oder hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat" sound pretty much similar, though.

    Funnily, the same dishes on the English written menu are slightly more expensive. :)
