Anybody in the area, perhaps anybody who might want to meet up?

I'll be in Chicago Friday the 12th (tomorrow/today) through early Sunday, spending most of the rest of this time in and around Springfield until roughly the 21st, when I'll be heading back up to Chicago to fly back home. If anybody is in the area and wants to arrange a meet-up, let me know. Food/Drink are viable options!

    seriously though, I grew up in Wisconsin just north of Chicago, nice to visit right now, but there isn't a thing in the verse to get me up there in Winter any more. Screw that stuff.

    Collecting Biggles faces? I did that once - it was quite fun. The problem is they kept fading away to blank after a few days.

    The trip rolls on! We've managed to cover vast stretches of nothing, spaced apart by further encounters with more nothing ;)

    We also managed to meet Anlashok for an hour or so while in Chicago, so we can check him off of our list.

    Yep that's pretty much middle and southern IL for ya. The other day a co-worker and I were to drive to Dayton on I70, took the wrong way at the I55/I70 split just outside St. Louis, and didn't notice foe 30 minutes since it all friggin looks the same.
