Code Geass - Leleuch of the rebellion / R2

MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Just watched the last episode, and I must say, its quite possiblbly the best series ever, better than battlestar.

Watched the first episode, a lot went on there. It's pretty good hope the follow up episodes are just as good.

Sometimes before I go to sleep I imagine traveling through a wormhole just like that telepathy effect in the show. It takes a lot of energy to do mentally, especially if you try to change directions, so it tires me out if I can focus. I think the longest I've maintained a mental wormhole has been about 10 minutes tops and that point you don't even know your doing it.

Ugh. I can't stand that show.

12 month bump .

Just found this show, and watched all of R2 in 1 day...

agreed, quite possibly the best anime I've seen. It got a little shaky here and there, and the comic relief/immature episodes were crap. (3 or 4 out of the 50 episode series). But the ending more than made up for it all.

Spoiler:
MASSIVE SPOILERS!
they tied things up extremely well, I'm trying to decide how long he had planned that ending. The float was defiantly designed so he could die next to his sister. But given his speeches all the way back to R1 where he was talking about evil fighting evil...he knew what he was doing, and he knew he would have to pay the price. That final scene / montage at the end was the most emotion I've seen packed into five minutes in any series I've ever seen I think. Music, visuals, speech...it all tied together wonderfully

All in all, 9/10

I never got past the first few episodes of this series. The main character was such an unlikable arsehole, and the others were all too shallow to make up for it, that I didn't enjoy it at all.

I had forgotten about it. It really is good though, Im gonna have to look through it again.

R2 is a whole lot better than the first season, Biggles.

I thought both were well done. And as bad as Leluche was, I liked him. He had a good reason to fight IMHO.
• Emperor Clovis!!!

I think we learned all we needed to about Clovis in the two episodes we saw him to know he deserved that bullet.

Spoiler:
I find it interesting, in the second episode he already knew that he wouldn't fit into his sisters peaceful world. I think he wanted to for awhile, but gave up on that after his first real campaign, when he realized he was drawing civilians into the conflict. He made the peaceful world for his sister at the expense of his life, and he did it willingly. I like how they put that kind of thought into the plot.
•
I think we learned all we needed to about Clovis in the two episodes we saw him to know he deserved that bullet.
Yeah, but because there were a few frames of him in the preview for the last ep, a good portion of /a/ thought that he was going to rise from the dead and kick Lelouch's ass. And because of all the crazy WTF plot twists in this series, that theory was really as good as any.

Except he was killed by headshot. Good luck with that.

The chances of Spoiler:
Lelouch faking is death were much higher. Except he is dead. (Confirmed by writers, and frankly, it's a better ending with him dead)
• And how many times did Charles or CC get shot in the head now? There are enough fantasy elements in the show that you could ultimately handwave it away however you want!
• A2597A2597 Fanboy
Well, Leluche never got CCs code, so he was not immortal. At first I thought that was his plan, but then realized that that plan would not work (There would need to be a body for that plan to work), and CC wouldn't have been upset by those events if that had been the plan, which she obviously was.

Not to mention, in the 2nd episode he already knew he wasn't going to have a place in his sisters ideal world. He was not a peaceful person by any means.
