    [url=http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/]Chuck Norris Facts[/url] were a terrible internet fad back in the day (actually a bastardization of Vin Diesel facts, of which most are a carbon copy, only emphasizing sheer brutality instead of beard-having) that computer-illiterate people (politicians) have dug up, two years too late for their use to provoke any sort of laughter save derisive, to re-use in a poorly-conceived attempt to reach the younger, internet-savvy generation (voters).

    I think the point at which Chuck Norris jokes officially stopped being even ironically funny was when he appeared on the Tony Danza show and used them to promote his book, or his conservative politics, or something.

    And it was just as awesome, but in different ways. Though that fad has long since sailed.
