    You know, when it comes to Crusade, it taught me one very important lesson.

    When you're camping out somewhere in the middle of nowhere, for Pete's sake DO [b]NOT[/b] trust your best friend with the task of taping the episodes you're missing while behind God's back.

    Hence for being so stupid as to trust my friend, I lost 2 eps and got only 1 of the 3 on tape. No good deed goes unpunished, I suppose.

    Seriously, we need some serious B5 here in Finland. Deprivation symptoms kick in VERY seriously...

    I got a chance to go to my grandmothers house that Monday and recorded all 13 episodes since I had he day off from work. It took 7 tapes to record them all as the VCR was stuck in the slowest recording mode and the original control was lost (and the universal control didn't work).

    I greatly enjoyed the show, and while some episodes where better then others, the show held great promise of "getting its legs" and developing into a damn fine series. I had more fun watching one Crusades episode than I have had watching 5 TNG or 10 Voyager episodes.

    I quickly grew fond of ALL the cast members, from the beautiful and humanitarian Medical Officer, to the egoistical/ greedy but brilliant Archeologist , to the lonely , cynical and powerful techno mage. I felt that there was a lot of room for them to grow as individuals and for good inter-personal relationships to form.

    I now know why many B5 fans feel a great sense of betrayal at TNT for killing off such a promising series. One can only hope that the stars will align once again in the near future and the show given another chance....
