Picasa is being a bitch about direct linking, sorry. If this link doesn't work lemme know.
Starts life much like Wingart does, as a Freehand file ~> Illustrator file ~> CNC plasma cutter ~> 2mm mild steel sheet ~> much bashing with a ball pein hammer in a swage block, some MIG welding and viola.
Incidentally, this is unfinished, more pics to come when it's all finished. I was just very impressed with how well it came up, so I'm keen to share.
Feedback questions and appraisal welcome ! :)

I look forward to seeing pictures of the finished item
I didn't want to see your tentacle porn anyway. ( NOTE: that last bit is a lie. )

But I can't see them...
Picasa isnt my normal host, Im attempting to hide it from the recipient of the finished work
Very well done! Making organic symmetry isnt the easiest thing to do, but that looks awesome. I would like some closeup pics of the suction cups and the backside please. :)
If I had the money.. ;)
I'm no longer forbidden! :D
*ducks*
Also looks like a boss from a console RPG. :p
Cool idea, and nicely done. Fairly simple swords doesnt draw too much attention from the centerpiece.
May I ask if its inspired by House Greyjoy perhaps? :)
Messiah - no direct influence involved, direct from my warped mind..:)
How are you man? :)

More precisely 14 gauge is thick enough it would be hard to hand hammer the steel with any precision.

Well you are the blacksmith...I'm just the guy who screws around with spreadsheets all day...

Fox New update; Ninja buggers, so thin you may never know they were there.
On a side note sense that word isn't taboo in America. My brother called my dad ' the old bugger ' for several years until he moved out.
