SB: I don't like how you are treating it as such a simple matter. It is not. It's a very deep, complex thing, this IP material. It's very unlikely that they'd allow you, an unknown individual, to mass produce T-Shirts and sell for profit. On the trekbbs forums, there is one who goes by the name of JohnM (I believe). He also tried something similar, NX-01 hats. I don't know what happened, but something most likely did come up and stop him. He constantly claimed he was "too small to be noticed" and "not doing anything illegal," as he was "having them made on my own." Well, that makes no difference. It's still a violation of copyrighted materials. It's simply that, and nothing more.

I'm afraid you're wrong there, Shadowboxer. Warner Brothers wouldn't even bat an eye at your offer of giving them part of the money you make. In order to create ANY B5-related material, you'd have to obtain a license to do so. And WB doesn't just hand out licenses to someone who wants to create one product (i.e., T-shirts), no matter how high-quality it is.
