  I've picked up Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis (2001) the other day... it's quite old but fortunately there's an unofficial patch to boost the visuals to less painful levels.
  
  Somehow I completely missed out on this amazing game... but it's much harder than Halo or Far Cry so I was quite surprized at the level of realism, no health meter or med kits, one shot, one kill. Suffice it to say, I've died quite often today alone.

  Well I made it about half way through my Marathon till my connection went dead. I just woke up hungover at a friend's however I found the following gear:
  
  Annhilus Small Charm (Can only be dropped by the Diablo Clone)
  Aldurs Advance Boots
  5% magic find small charm
  Other goodies include
  Another Tal Rasha Helm that I am now using on my 83 Amazon.
  
  Im really proud of what I've been able to accomplish in two months of playing. I now have a Faith Grand Matron Bow that adds the fanaticism aura onto your Amazon. I am doing quite well these days and can get decent items in a jiffy. I want to have my first level 99 by the end of the month.

  I finally found my old [i]Baldur's Gate II[/i] CDs, after 2+ years of losing save games to computer/hard drive malfunctions somewhere around Act 2-3, and had myself a little marathon. [i]Throne of Bhaal[/i] should be arriving at my doorstep tomorrow! :D
  
  And having (finally!) beaten the game, I can say with some degree of authority that it is, in fact, the greatest game ever made.
