A little sneak-preview for you guys...
It's Back!
It'll be announced on the main page soon but I thought I'd give you guys a little bit of fun.
Maybe we'll see a bit of the webmaster 'round these parts now? *cough* ;)

Perhaps you could put up the extended Battle Themes from the canceled Space Combat Simulator? Or is it still too hot as a material? :)
This is really nice :))
with best Regards

Anyway, no major issues for us, as it's a collection of Remixed works (which already are a safe-zone due to the copyright grey area that they reside within) and through the tacit approval of Sonic Images over the years.
I've read discussions on my site in the past and people think I had some sort of O.K. from Sonic Images or Chris Franke himself, but in actuality I had nothing of the sort. I once received an e-mail from the VP of Sonic Images asking me to explain why I thought my web site wasn't violating copyright... I sent back a very polite reply with my "reasons" and naturally offered to take down the site if they wanted me to. I never received a second e-mail. I suppose you could call that an approval?
So, during the years I ran the site, I wasn't going to be surprised if Sonic Images or my server host asked my to remove the MP3s. Luckily I never had a problem! Let's hope it continues here at FirstOnes.com. I agree somewhat with Sanfam about the MP3s being remixes and existing outside the standard copyright laws, but there are tracks on the site that are completely unaltered (like the main titles and a couple of suites from the Vol. 2 CD). In any case, let's just assume that my site will remain open and unthreatened!
It's good to be back! :)
Also, keep in mind that if the legal needs arise, we will respond with a proper action. Whether that's defending the content or removing it...well, that all depends on the scenario. However, we're fairly safe on the altered content.
EDIT: It appears that the ITF Battle Sequence A zip is corrupted in some way because I am getting an error message when I attempt to unzip it (using WinRar). Just thought I would give you a heads up on that. Other than that, thank you so much so glad that I finally have my B5 music back!
It’s good timing reviving the best of the old sites as there might/should be some renewed interest if jms’s Lost Files idea takes off. Will give newbee’s like me the chance to see what I missed.

I tried downloading the ZIP file for that track and decompressing it, and everything seems fine. Has anyone else had problems with that file?
CRC check failed for me as well.
Oh one request- I don't know how difficult it would be but maybe zip all of it together in one big file that way people could get everything at once? Thats something I would definitely be interested in.
Now that something like this is possible (which it wasn't back-in-the-day on the old server) I will look into that!
