  Yuck! Just what I wanted to read before going to bed! :)
  
  There are other Zombies I've seen in a tv documentary. I forget which plant it is....somewhere in the tropics where the person is completely paralized (sp)? from taking it and their heartbeats practicularly stop. Anyway they then bury them for so long then dig them out again. There was one girl who really did act like a Zombie afterwards - brain damage. Some cultures out there are really quite frightening. It was a good doc though.

  That sounds like voodoo culture from the Caribbean. There is a certain toxin from a fish I believe that creates zombie like symptoms in humans. Supposedly voodoo practitioners use this on their victims. What is interesting is that in some regions, the voodoo culture is so engrained, that long after the poisons effect has worn off, the victim still believes they are a zombie and will do the practitioner's bidding.

  Yeah voodoo thats what I meant. Just couldn't think at the time. Thanks for explaining further. I'll check out that link tomorrow when I got more time - hopefully!
