Help me get a freeipod (for the love of god)

I am one referral away from getting a freeipod. I am so close. But for now, I have no rockin' tunes in my car. I need rockin' tunes. Won't you please think of the small children and cute kittens? [url=http://www.freeipods.com/?r=7705602]Please help[/url].

Seriously, I've been stuck at one referral to go for several months, now, and I like NPR, but when it's all you can listen to, it can drive you really fucking crazy. So I'm a little desperate, and if there's anyone out there who hasn't done it and wouldn't mind helping me out, I'd be incredibly grateful.

    Are you saying that the freeipods site is bs? There are tons of documented cases of people getting their ipods. It's a pyramid scheme, but instead of money, it functions on an advertising model. It's definitely legitimate, if not exactly virtuous. You just have to be willing to follow it through the whole way to get the ipod, which is probably a net loss for them 9presumably, the tons of people who never do go the whole way more than make up for it). There are a lot of fraudulent copy sites.

    It isn't a fraud. As I recall, SamK got an iPod out of it, and I know a few others who have got stuff too.

    It's not BS in any way. Perfectly legitimate and actually a damned good idea. However, it's really hard to find people who have not yet done it :D Being an early adopter (not me) is great.

    But not great enough for me, apparently. I a year ago, and now I've been sitting at 4 referrals and more NPR than a man can safely handle for months.
