• Civilization! *cough*

i picked Silent Service, a original Nintendo submarine game focusing on the pacific theater. Great little game. However, I recently found Ubisofts Silent Hunter which rocks and has kick ass graphics.

You know Exile, I still have the original Civilization on the computer and it does run in XP.

The only trick is, I dont have a book anymore and you do have to get by the questions it asks you.

I'm still bitter over the miserable, idiotic mess that was Pirates.

AC is still one of the best games ever made.
• StrikerStriker Provided with distinction
I'd say Gettysburg, but I'm a history buff. That game was fun back in the day. :)

SMAC!!!! I WANT SMAC2!!!!!! And it should be tied into Civ IV, so what you send out into the stars will affect what you start with in SMAC2. Oh the uberness. Planet Busters with a real 3d engine!
• BekennBekenn Sinclair's Duck
What, I'm the only one here who played F-19? Awesome sim.
• JackNJackN Lightwave Alien
Vote well...

You guys realize that Marc Hudgins works there right?

AGEIA's PhysX PPU could come in handy.

Anyway. I had Silent Service on the C64 as well. Fun game.

My pick from the poll is Colonization.

choosed Gunship, Gunship 2000 was an excellent game, but looks like I am among the few :)
• PrimusPrimus Trainee
Alpha Centauri. Although it is very good, it'd be great to see an updated version of it. ...SMAC2. :p

F-19 was the first sim I ever played, and also the one that got me into the genre. Great game.

Anyone still play SMAC?

Who was your favorite Faction?

I usually did well either with The Gayans
or The Peacekeepers.
• PrimusPrimus Trainee
I haven't played it in a long time. I always played with Morgan faction (was that the name? lol).

Pravin Lal gonna bring the hurt, baby. Yeah, bitch, tha's how I roll.

Though, if I went back, I'd probably go with Dierdre. Millitant, green, and hot.
• croxiscroxis I am the walrus

Only twice have I gained victory on Transcend level... both times as Prokhor "technological superiority through nerve stapling" Zakharov. Hooray for economic sanctions! :D
• JackNJackN Lightwave Alien
I voted SMAC as well...

Freelancer... They left so much out.
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
I wasn't aware Sid Meier was involved in Freelancer. Let's review the question, shall we?
Which Sid Meier’s game/series (past or present) would you most like to see remade?
Freelancer was originally an idea from:

Unfortunately www.digitalanvil.com will redirect you to www.microsoft.com/games. Digital Anvil is Chris and Erin Roberts' company for games that they formed when they left the Austin, Texas company named Origin. Origin, originally started by Richard and Robert Garrott, was a proving ground for new developers and Chris and Erin Roberts were no different from the dozens of new game designers that Origin nutured in its pre-Electronic Arts days. Chris and Erin Roberts have a flair for the cinematic, the blending of game and film technology to build a story game which has excellent animated or filmed cut scenes. Chris and Erin Roberts produced games like Privateer (1993), Privateer 2: The Darkening (1996), Wing Commander, Strike Commander (May 12, 1993), Strike Commander: Tactical Operations (Expansion, 1993), Wing Commander Prophecy, Wing Commander III: The Heart of the Tiger (1995), Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom, Wing Commander II:Vengance of the Killrathi (1991), Wing Commander (1990), Wing Commander Armada, Wing Commander Academy (1995), Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga (1997 repackaging). The earlier games had two expansion packs each Secret Missions and Special Operations add-on scenerios. Chris Roberts also worked on Pacific Strike (1994), Bad Blood (1990)and Times of Lore (1989).

But I am really waiting for this little gem to come out.

Then I can actually sail YAMATO! HA

F-19 is really Keen!

It took me 3 hours to land the first time.
• Tie Fighter.

Use state of the art graphics for the flight engine, and high grade CGI animation for the cutscenes, whilst still retaining exactly the same voice talent and storyline as in the original. (The music will also be recomposed but remain the same.)
