I would say that pushing it up to #11 on the sales rank would be a good indication of interest.

I'll let my language filter drop a bit and say that:
"Patenting 'One-Click' ordering was ass."
Amazon's strength came not from the "one-click" thing (Oooooooo! They know how to use COOKIES!), but rather from brand recognition. I viewed it as a cheap way to try and keep BN.com a step behind, and, more likely, to get additional media exposure.
Love Amazon.com though, from a consumer's standpoint. It's pretty hard to find many companies willing to sell product at a loss in mass volume

When Crusade was released the videos went like hot cakes... ok that was a new release, the B5 series has been out before, but I reckon it will sell very very well. Plus we have to remember that we have picked up alot of new B5 fans esp with the the successful re-runs on Sci-Fi.

Whats to say that this DVD will be in the box set? Why not get it now and show you're interested so they actually make a box set?

I'm off the same mind as many here, wait for the boxset, as its way cooler, plus usually works out cheaper.
But...
Looking at it as you said Biggles, if everyone said hell I'm going to wait for a boxset, then no one will buy the first batch of DVD's, and Warner will take that as a lack of interest, and cancel further plans. I just I wish I had a multi-region DVD player at the moment, other wise I'd have ordered right now. I think there are alot of UK B5 fans who would like to pre-order but can't, because of regionality crap. I mean I could order now, but then I wouldn't have anything to watch them on, expect one of my bosses at work, he's got this 50 DVD multi changer player which is multiregion compat and cost around £500, but his house is full of cats. They might wee on my beloved B5 DVD cases...

Thing about box sets is, chances are those will only be season-by-season. Neither ITB nor TG can be said to take place within a season, so I doubt these will ever be in a box set. More likely the movies will be sold separately, so best to get this DVD now and show 'em you're interested.

Actually thats a very good point Bekenn! In the Beginning and The Gathering are not part of the actual season line up. So therefore, as you say, if the sales of the first 2 are good, then they should, logically speaking consider boxset releases for season 1 etc.
Biggles, I wish I could afford one, but having 2 DVD players is a bit excessive. But then again my house mate owns the current one, and when our contract ends in January, I'm looking for my own place, so a DVD for myself will be very very necessary.
