-- I liked the episode with Mira. She played her role excellently. Hope to see more.
-- I'm lagging behind a lot. Since no local TV stations are showing it, you can pretty much guess what causes the lag.
-- Since I like multiple episodes, and consider the show worth making, I shall eventually compensate for the electronic muling by buying the DVD disks (when they become available).
"There isn't one answer to everything," Abrams said. "It's, like, this island has an amazing history that we've talked about, and things will change as we go, it always does. ... [But] you don't have the time or the energy to figure out everything in the first season of a show that, ... if you're lucky, [you] get five, six, seven, eight years [to do]. But we have a few really big ideas that we hope we're on long enough to tell."
Spoiler: Something is fishy about how Jack overpowered Ethan this time. The guy could pick Charlie off the ground and last time he fought Jack he kicked his ass. Then again, he was getting up until everyone pulled out the guns.
They're gonna have to have some pretty good ideas if they're planning more than 1 season. I could see it going for 2-3 seasons but find it hard to see it lasting longer than that. Think about it, 3 years on an island like that without having a shave... scary! ;)
hmm..did anyone else than me see who was on the television in episode 17 (the asian family with the dog)? havent rechecked, but to me it looked like it was the fat one.
Getting a little boring now....something must happen soon....

It was hurley, he was on the screen for about 1/2 of a second, and so far, out of all the friends who i've asked, you guys are the ONLY people besides me and my daughter who noticed it!
according to the producers, 2 or more characters cross paths somehow in EVERY single flashback.

It's not impossible to think that they have razors.

Yeah it was Hurley. I also think that is why the Asian guy (man I am bad with character names) offered him fresh sea food (urchin?) way up front in the show. He recognized Hurley somehow...
There's also the mixed paths with Doc's (Jack?) father (heart surgeon?) at the bar in Australia sharing the bottle with the what's his face (the guy who barters shit he recovered from the plane).

Man I can't remember names for shit...

Sawyer is his name, there was also a crossover in stories when i believe it was the black guy was at a police station in australia, and the cops brought Sawyer in in the background.

I doubt that. Jin doesn't seem like the kind of guy to be nice to someone just because he saw the guy on TV. I think Jin was just trying to help out/do his part.

Ha! Now we know why Hurley showed up on TV in Asia! :D
Great episode!
Nice to see Mira Furlan again too. :)
Spoiler: Cursed numbers no less... What a wicked web that is being weaved!
it was nie to see Mira again, and this was a good episode, now the question is... Do the numbers have any more signifigance than happening to be the numbers on whatever that wreck thingy is?
Also, did anyone notice who the crossover character was in Hurley's flashbacks? I was so busy paying attention to the story, i forgot to look for who else was there.
I'm pretty sure i still have it on my tivo, so i may go back and watch the flashbacks and see if there is another character in the flashbacks.
I love this show, i mean, Hurley is cursed, by numbers that he hears from a crazy guy, who head them in the military being broadcast from an island that hurley ends up being stranded on 3 years later, Talk about a mindfuck! lol
As for the box company... perhaps indeed.. but I haven't watched that episode yet.
It also appears that Hurley believes in fate. The way he keeps losing money to Walt... does suggest him thinking "if you have a sufficiently big debt, fate will generally arrange that you *do* have to pay it back".
you know, that would be a PERFECT end to the series...

they get off the island, and he pays walt like, 2,000,000 in backgamman debt...
:D

That was the one girls brother...can't think of his name, the lifegaurd that hangs out with Locke...
