Shure is. If I remember correctly from history the French Canadians used guerilla tactics against the Bristish.
Also once you get up into the Canadian Shield there are alot of places for ambuses and traps. Also its prity hilly and lots of nice places for Sniper attacks and Javalian and T.O.W. missile attacks on armour units moving threw the area on the roads. Also the Commflage the Canadian army uses is very very effective. But one problem is that in some areas of Canada the Terrian is very very very Flat.
Also, if the US was going to invade it would be for our Beer Supply, in that case the US army mite have to deal with massive Mobs of armed people defending the beer.
theres a bar here in Aberdeen that imports this one canadian beer, moosehead i think it is. very nice! unfortunatly i dont know of anywhere in edinburgh (where i now live) that sells it:(
Biggles: whats Speights (spelling?) like? theres a bar in edinburgh that sells it, and this kiwi friend of mine is always telling me to try it.
It tastes like any other beer: crap. :)
Both Beer and wine taste like crap.
but i totally agree with the "beer = crap" statement :)
surprisingly ive also gone in for wine as well. only red tho, i cant stand white as it gives me a headache
I think, that the US has a ready plans to invade any country in this world...
People change, politcs never.
I wonder if the US had a plan to invade the Moon and Mars.
My father is a graduate of its sister school, actually its prepratory school, the Command and general staff school.
I hate to tell you, what your looking at is somebody's final exam :D
senior officers go who are being tapped for achieving flag rank, IE they are on their way to being generals.
They come up with stratgies and plans and even game them out in large scale, as part of training.
Plan Red existed since the late 1880's at least, if not longer, and recieved periodic revisions to keep it updated
Also these continancy plans are usefull. Plan orange was folded almost completely into the "Rainbow" plans post 1940 when it realized that a war of alliances was on the horizon.
Slight explenation, the orginal "color" plans invisioned a war between america (Blue) and a single party, IE Orange, red, or combinations, such as crazily enough Orange AND red.
the later "Rainbow" plans take into account that ther could be various alliances of friendly forces and enemy forces.
hell, the origins of plan red involved a UK landing force near washington D.C. which stayed in the plans till sometime post WW1, even though the military realties in the world post WW1 made such an action nearly impossible! :D
