    I thought it was becuase women have less risky jobs then men(which is changing). In about 100 years the life Expancy for men and women will porbaly be the same.

    Most of the people who do that, I hate(Which is why if I find smokes laying around i'm going to sell it to them, hehe). So i'm happy I will out live them.

    I dont smoke or drink or plan on doing risky things that will get me killed or hurt. so I should live a long life. Life Expancy is about life style.

    i certainly know some women who drink and smoke far more than (most of) my male mates. (tho most of those women are rugby players.......:rolleyes: )

    You know, my guess is, that the fact that women tend to outlive men comes simply from some sort of natural selection. Perhaps the women whose genetic material was good enough to grant 'em a couple odd more years were the ones that generated more offspring during the times of the proverbial Stick & Stone and thus became the dominant female genetic brewing ground.

    Just to be a spoilsport. Should go out and drop in the lottery, but it's _cold_ in there... brr. :p
