B5 Mod to save ITF
I have had an idea. I don't know if we can recreate B5:ITF but I think it would be possible to create the B5 universe. Here is the link: http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/Forum16/HTML/000572.html
Please check it out and please don't move this, I just wanted more ideas/opinions from people.

I'd comment on that one but...

Life is full of surprises. The ones reserved for me usually come wearing brass knuckles.

I have read some of "Dr." Smart's rants on the internet. The guy definitely comes across as a grade A looney.
He is very abusive with anyone who disagrees with him. He claims much, proves little (such as his "doctorate".)
His spelling, grammer and general tone leave much to be desired, but that doesn't prove he can't program. He is certainly impassioned, but often comes across like a whacko.
I suppose that he, like many other developers unfortunately, has probably really been knocked around some, but unlike our beloved developers, he has become bitter and hostile as a result.
I've tried to play the game, but never got very far... It has a VERY steep learning curve and I really never had the time to get up to speed on it.
I guess I would say that you should approach this idea with caution. Play the game for awhile, read up on what Mr. Smart has had to say online, as well as what others have said about him.

BC3000AD 2.09 has been released free (It's the last version of the game).
One problem with BattleCruiser Millenium.
The hardware requirements are quite hard.
Minimum: CPU 500mHz
Recommended: CPU 700mHz
Optimal: CPU 1GHz
And that's only the processor requirements.
Creating the MOD would take several months I think, but if somebody has patience, it's us.

[b]Zosolias is correct, but BC3000AD would be a *perfect* game for a B5 mod.

In one year, you'll laugh. And then continue laughing. These aren't all that high, when you think of it. I remember when I got this pricessor and thought I'd be safe for a decent amount of time. I've been proven wrong on multiple occasions. Technology moves fast.
