Whats Happyness??

I was just thinking, people always say you should be happy, but I don't see anything to be happy about in this world. everything is just fucked up. I have not felt truly happy in a very long time, I mostly either feel neutral or depressed for some reason. Why is it that people think everyone should be happy, and being depressed or not feeling anything not being normal.

Relationships seem is cause more stress in peoples lives.
As for why people think happiness is a good thing as opposed to being unhappy, well, duh, common sense. People enjoy being happy. Do you also wonder why people have sex, or you want someone to explain that to you too?

You know what makes me happy? Not having a martyr complex. Bad things happen. Good things happen. The way I see it, you can concentrate on one or the other. Bear in mind, though, that throughout your life, you will attempt to make the world conform to your view of it, positive or negative.
So, since you see only the bad, you have a tendency to go find good things and ruin them. And that's fine, so long as you accept that no one, anywhere, ever, will appreciate the person who pisses on their parade.
If you decide to change, and to see all that is good in this world, and to dedicate yourself to making more goodness, you'll doubtless find yourself far more popular.
But its your choice. No one is going to change your life for you. I've tried waiting for that.

But you can't really judge everyone based on the few who really suck. Try not to stereotype not all Americans are dicks. Same goes for Canadians I know a very cool cop that I met threw Diablo 2 & hes beyond good hes helped me out alot infact. & I think spent quite a fortune on a few long distance calls.
There, that's the vital part. No, we're not into separator erotics here, just to say that don't let the world decide what makes you happy. When it comes to [i]your[/i] happiness, the only person that can accomplish that is you yourself. So screw the world, what they think is right and what you should do with your life. Listen to your parents and friends for advice, but in the end, make your own decision. If you believe that you'll get by and be happy for a little less, don't let yourself be pushed over the top just to make your parents, relatives, pals etc. happy.
What I've learned is not much, but seems to be rather good advice nonetheless: To be happy, truly happy for the right reasons, you only need:
-First & Foremost: A woman/man who you can genuinely love and who loves you back.
-A place to call home.
-And a place of study or a job to pay your bills. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, if you can live with the job and it supports you well enough.
...And that's it. If you can boost the list up with one good friend and a hobby that you enjoy, you can consider yourself damn well off.
And women who are there for you for the money are whores, mate, not the real deal. If someone is there simply to smooch off you, just tell 'er that you can get a cheaper bang elsewhere. The ones that really matter stick there even if you'd get dirt poor.
And about sex... it's fun. If you're not aiming for kids in the near future it's simply good & fun. Sure, it might be less strenuating to just simply whack off for a good & sure 'gazm, but it goes a bit deeper on the mental level if you have someone you really care about there right next, under, on top or in front of you. :D ...If you're both on the same level about what you're doing and where it's going to lead.
Having a lot of sex with yourself does have its drawbacks, especially if you practice it a lot. If you have a fast hand and a tight grip, you might lose some of your sensitivity. Afterwards, the real deal doesn't feel as good as it might. Been there, unfortunately. :) Nothing major and you get over it, but just in case someone doesn't know this yet.
And just to top my own embarrasment... [b]*ahem*[/b]: Internet dating services actually do work. Sometimes I find it hard to believe myself, but I can't really forget the facts. :)

Why do people shoot clay pidgins? They aren't a menace, and aren't effected one way or another if you blast them apart.
Why, for their own good, of course. Sharpening their skills. Responding to a person like Simmonds, the fellow who's always first to find the dark cloud behind the silver lining, helps us bring our own worldviews into better focus. The fact that he won't listen, and doesn't want our help isn't important. The fact that he'd misconstrue almost any vaguely negative thing we say as a threat against his personal safety is likewise unimportant. What matters is that we discover something important about ourselves, and about our fellows, who are just as misguidedly altruistic as we are.
We've opened the door. We've established what's on the other side. If he steps through it or not is his problem. Mine has already been solved.

And if your so worried about the world being fucked up. Do your best to unfuck your corner of it. Expect to get your ass kicked, expect your efforts to be ignored, but by god when the next morning comes and you look at your physicly and emotionaly battered form in the mirror, your going to discover something wonderfull, is that by god ,you can accept the brusied form staring back at you. And as you watch the place you live in, and the people you deal with, slowly but surely improve their life, you may not find happiness, but you will find purpose and piece of mind, and sometimes thats all you need.
