No point. Invalid answer. They are variables. I personally think it will be great. It has a talented cast, and a good crew, and all script reviews are nothing but good. And don't give me any of this "it has so and so, which makes it suck" crap. It's all about Implimentation of the givens.

But it looks like an Akira variant. And see my point about the registrey number. But as a matter of blind faith, I think they'll at least fix the registrey.

I'm kinda ok on the new enterprisse, though. It's looking quite nice.
Look at the registrey number on the Dauntless. NX-01-A. Stands to reason NX-01 was named...wait for it... THE DAUNTLESS! And don't say since it was a forgery, it didn't need to be accurate–at least one person on the ship has to remember the name of the first ship in starfleet. So, I say Enterprise should be NX-02, or something else other than NX-01.

That was actually an issue. I was REALLY hoping starfleet would not be involved with this. It would solve so many problems and fit in so much better with the scheme of things. There was a canon SPACESHIP enterprise before the Starfleet craft. It was stated in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It was on the wall-o-ships scene. The announcement that this ship was part of the new "starfleet" was the only thing that really annoyed me. It just does not seem right. The ship design and interiors are perfectly fine, but it just does not feel right to have the enterprise as NX-01 of Starfleet, where it should be the Dauntless.
